Vinter i Bergen / Winter in Bergen

It has been an unusually nice winter here in Bergen this year. The snow has been here since before x-mas, and that is the longest period ever. And it doesnt seem to stop, it keeps coming. For two days now it has been snowing, but this morning the sun was shining again - it was beautiful! Just look at the pictures.

You do have a lot of snow! Our scenery is so different. I live in Southern Utah in a desert that has red rocks and cactus. I used to live in Northern Utah where the 2002 Winter Olympics were held. I still don't think we had as much snow as you.

and here it is different too - in Arkansas at this time of year it is at the very early stages of spring where it is still a lot brown dead grass and dead oak leaves still on the trees (they fall off in the beginning of spring here) and we have a little bit of green starting to poke through here and there of springtime bulbs. Spring is on it's way - just taking it's time as usual.
